In almost every great recording, the lead vocal is the most important element to engage the listener.  Vocals  deliver the message, carry the hook of the song and capture the emotion of listeners. No other instrument has as much power or influence. A great vocal recording usually starts with a great vocal microphone in a great sonic space or booth. Other key elements to a great recording are a high quality analog signal chain…quality mic preamps and compressors (preferably with vintage style tube circuitry)  Also the recording engineer and producer must have a hi quality reference monitoring system in order to properly hear what changes they are making as they mix and edit.  An experienced engineer can help you get the most from your recording with some creative production techniques, including doubling vocals, stacking multiple vocal tracks, using effects like reverb or Auto-Tune while recording, and methods for harmonizing. In addition there are many tricks during post production that will enhance the final product. Our control room features three separate hi-end audio monitoring systems and plenty of room to relax and listen to playback.
